The first TEDxRochester is now available for you to watch! I’m so glad to finally give those who missed out on this fantastic event the opportunity to peek in! Actually, in this particular instance, I’m getting to see it for the first time as well as I got pulled into the lobby for other things and missed Eric’s talk.
As you probably gathered from my earlier post, we had a great time at Eric’s office a couple of weeks before TEDxRochester. His talk doesn’t disappoint, either. Thanks to the video we shot, you get to see a small portion of Eric’s amazing lab at the Strong National Museum of Play.
So, without further ado, I present our first official video release from TEDxRochester 2009:
P.S. Take THAT Jon Stewart! Think you’re all big. Messing with one of our iconic landmarks. “Ooo, I’m Jon Stewart. I have the only news show on TV worth watching. Ooo, I can mess with a kid’s museum. I’m so tough!”
Don’t mess with Rochester, pal. Shoveling our driveways twice a day nine months out of each year makes us strong like bull. And the garbage plates make us thick and impervious to attack. We’ll take you DOWN!

OMG, thanks so much for sharing the Stewart clip. (and of course the TEDx talk- but I was fortunate enough to see that live
) Eric’s talk was one of the best of the day!
Thanks! I think Jon did a a great job, as usual, with his mock ridicule.
I was glad our first video could come from Strong after seeing that.
