Yunjung Lee
Yunjung is a violinist from South Korea who began studying violin at the age of 5. Currently, she is a teaching assistant and pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts under Federico Agostini at Eastman School of Music. She is also an artist-in-residence at Valley Manor in Rochester, NY.
Yunjung is passionate about teaching and performances. She has performed with orchestras around the world, including the Greece Symphony Orchestra, the Seoul Philharmonic, Korean Symphony Orchestra, and many others. Yunjung participated in the Music Academy of the West, the Brevard Music Festival, Orford Music Center, and the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico. Moreover, she has given performances at hospitals, senior homes and a prison, where music is really needed.
Yunjung earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree at Eastman School of Music, studying under the tutelage of Zvi Zeitlin and Federico Agostini.
